This, along with Book 2, is the essential revision book for candidates preparing for the Intercollegiate FRCS (Urol) examination. Surgical trainees have very busy clinical duties and along with personal commitments this means that time for exam revision is very tight and often done during tired evenings and weekends. Essential Revision Notes for FRCS (Urol) – Book 1 provides a precious concise collection of facts, information and guidance for the benefit of all urology trainees and in particular those sitting the FRCS (Urol) who therefore already possess undergraduate medical knowledge and basic training in surgery. It is designed to be a highly effective tool to pass the FRCS (Urol) and, along with its sister volume, Book 2, forms the only set of textbooks in the world that separates urological knowledge into the 8 different stations of the exam.
All content is neatly summarised into bite-size paragraphs, thus removing the task of information gathering and synthesizing which is time-consuming for the busy trainee. Diagrams and tables display information in a visually attractive and simplified way to aid trainee revision.

He has written more than 10 first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals and led presentations on an international surgical platform in 8 different countries.
